At Overhall Contractors, we believe that being a responsible business means actively supporting the communities in which we live and work. We are proud to contribute to a range of local initiatives and charitable causes, helping to create positive, lasting impact beyond our construction sites. We also support people within the wider construction industry and are proud to be a Company Supporter of Lighthouse, a construction charity that offers many forms of help and guidance to those in need.
We are long-standing sponsors of several children’s sports teams and individual athletes, including football, swimming, motorsports and boxing. By investing in grassroots sports, we aim to support young people’s physical and mental wellbeing, build confidence, and encourage teamwork and discipline both on and off the field.
In addition to financial sponsorships, Overhall regularly donates plants, materials, and resources to community-led projects. We are committed to lending our expertise and equipment to projects that make a difference.
In 2025, we proudly hosted our first annual Charity Golf Day, bringing together clients, suppliers, and staff in support of meaningful causes. The event raised over £10,000, which was donated to the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity and various local community projects. This initiative marked the beginning of what we intend to be a growing tradition of fundraising and community engagement.
